Montessori inspired kid's rooms

When I was pregnant I stumbled upon the Montessori education method and I really liked some of the principles and I tried to use some of them in my son's space here at home.
The basic principles:
- Simplicity. You should avoid excess of furniture and toys.
- The child must be free to explore and learn on her own.
 - The room is designed to foster development of the whole child through a nurturing and stimulating prepared environment.
- Following the method the child will develop a sense of independence, self-confidence, self-discipline and intrinsic motivation.

To set up a montessori bedroom for a baby/toddler you will need:
- A hazzard free environment.
- A floor bed.
- A mirror.
- A window / a place for nature.
- Limited amount of toys.
- Things at toddler level.
